Chef Kevin Cottle, Hell’s Kitchen Season 6, Announced as Keynote Speaker at 2010 International Boston Seafood Show
(Portland, ME) – November 19, 2009 - Internationally acclaimed chef, Kevin Cottle, will give the Keynote Address, “Local and Sustainable Seafood: Why It Makes Sense,” at the 2010 International Boston Seafood Show on Sunday March 14th.
Chef Cottle most recently appeared on FOX's Hell’s Kitchen Season 6 and finished as runner-up. Currently working as Executive Chef, at the Country Club of Farmington in Connecticut, Cottle is no stranger to New England. Growing up on Cape Cod, Cottle’s flair for contemporary New England cuisine was inspired by his father, a fisherman, and his mother, a Chef.
Cottle brings 13 years of culinary experience from time spent in New Hampshire, New York, Boston and Connecticut. He has aggressively been involved with the Department of Agriculture “Farm to Chef” program which helps consumers realize the wonderful bounty of food grown locally in the State of Connecticut.
Cottle’s Keynote Address will be given during the 2010 International Boston Seafood Show (IBSS) which will take place March 14-16, at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, MA. IBSS is North America’s largest seafood event, co-located with Seafood Processing America, this is the place for buyers and sellers to find the newest fresh, frozen, and packaged seafood products and processing equipment, and stay on top of emerging consumer trends. The conference program features four session tracks: Retail, Foodservice, Sustainability, and Processing/Services; as well as the Shrimp Summit, Seafood Business Summit, and Seafood Marketplace Seminar.
The Keynote Address is open to all International Boston Seafood Show/Seafood Processing America attendees and exhibitors; special conference passports are required to attend additional conference sessions.
The 2010 International Boston Seafood Show and Seafood Processing America will be co-located with the New England Food Show, the largest regional trade event serving buyers and suppliers in the foodservice and retail markets. This show also features a variety of educational and entertaining special events. Registration to the International Boston Seafood Show/Seafood Processing America will provide access to the New England Food Show exhibit floor.
